Every bowl of phở

tells a story.

Chef Mama Hoa’s recipes, operated by her three sons in Cypress & Missouri City, Texas.

New to phở? Start here.

Phở (say “fuh,” with a little lift, like a question) is Vietnam’s beloved noodle soup: a broth simmered for 24 hours, soft rice noodles, and your choice of protein, finished at the table with fresh herbs, lime, and chili. Ask us anything. Walking a guest through a first bowl is one of our favorite parts of the job.

Chef Mama Hoa with her three sons, Sony, Sung and Sam, the family behind Triple S Pho & Grill in Cypress, TX and Missouri City, TX

Three S’s.
One final boss.

Sung, Sony and Sam dream up the dishes. Mama Hoa, who learned to cook in Huế, decides which ones make the cut. If it’s on our menu, it passed her taste test. Everything else? Just the boys playing in the kitchen.
